ChaiGPT.org is designed to be simple and privacy-conscious. You do not need to create an account. We do not charge fees. We do not store your chats. Refreshing the page clears the conversation.
What we do not do

- We do not use analytics in v1.
- We do not intentionally log your full prompts or answers.
How answers are generated
ChaiGPT runs an open-source AI model directly in your browser using WebLLM and WebGPU. Your prompts and uploads are processed on your device — they are not sent to a cloud AI provider, and they are not sent to ChaiGPT's server for inference.
The first time you chat, your browser downloads and caches a small open-source model file (a few hundred MB). These are model weights, not your chat history. ChaiGPT does not save your conversation.
If your browser can't run Local Mode
Local Mode requires a modern browser with WebGPU support (recent Chrome, Edge, or Brave on most desktops). If your browser doesn't support it, ChaiGPT falls back to a Search Mode that gives you helpful search links — no AI request is sent to any server.
Important safety note
Please do not enter passwords, private keys, bank details, medical records, government IDs, or highly sensitive personal information. AI can make mistakes, so verify important medical, legal, financial, political, or safety-related information with trusted sources.
