2. Nature of the Service (On-Device AI)

Our service provides a user interface to interact with AI language models that execute locally on your hardware, using browser-based APIs like Chrome's Prompt API or WebLLM. Because the models run locally, the speed, quality, and availability of the service are highly dependent on your personal device's hardware and software configuration.

3. Limitation of Liability and "As Is" Provision

• Accuracy. AI models are known to occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information (often called "hallucinations"). You are solely responsible for verifying any output generated by the models before relying upon it.
• "As is." The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or continuous availability of the AI outputs.
• Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChaiGPT.org and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service or any AI-generated content.

4. Acceptable Use

While the computation happens on your device, your use of the interface must comply with applicable laws. You agree not to use the service to generate illegal content, promote violence, or develop malware. You also agree to comply with the Acceptable Use Policies of the underlying models and APIs (including Google's Chrome Built-in AI terms, where applicable).

5. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, especially as underlying browser technologies and APIs evolve.
